Welcome to Multitudes: A Gathering

Welcome to Multitudes! We’re thrilled that you’re joining us.

This is unlike anything we've ever done: creating an intimate, multi-day event together with a small group of guests,
united by a love of music and the power of artist-audience relationships.
We’re so glad that you’ll be bringing your unique gifts to this gathering.

See you soon,
Vienna, Alex & the Multitudes team

LOCATION

Multitudes will take place across two cabins in the Great Smoky Mountains. They are a 2-minute drive apart, and on-request transportation will be provided throughout the event.

WHY TWO CABINS?

While contingency planning for our original one-cabin location, we found these two cabins that we believe are a better fit for Multitudes. After careful consideration, we decided to officially make it “plan A”!
We’re excited to make use of the expanded common space for activities, additional amenities such as indoor pools, and the friendly and responsive cabin management team to ensure a great experience for everyone.

Is there a “main” cabin? Where will Alex and Vienna be staying?

Big Forest Retreat is the larger cabin and will host most evening activities and music performances. Splashin’ Mountain Retreat is the smaller cabin and will host most of the daytime sessions.
Vienna and Alex will rotate to stay at each cabin, so all guests will get plenty of time with both artists both during and outside of scheduled program times.

Can I walk between cabins?

Yes! It’s a 10-minute walk and mostly flat (Google Maps route here), but note there are no sidewalks or street lighting. Car/van transport will be available throughout the event to ensure everyone feels safe going between cabins door-to-door, as well as to hiking locations in the Smokies.

GETTING THERE

The Multitudes Tour Van (Airport Shuttle)

If you booked a reservation for shuttle service from and back to Nashville Airport (BNA), thank you! By reducing the number of cars going to Multitudes, you’re helping us tread a bit more lightly on our collective home.

Pickup at BNA: 2:30pm Central, Wednesday Sep 25
Arrival at Cabin: by 8:00pm Eastern
Return to BNA: by 3:00pm Central at BNA, Saturday Sep 28

Van ride will include:

  • Charging ports

  • Refreshments

  • Separate cargo hold (plenty of space for luggage)

  • Short get-to-know-each-other games and Alex/Vienna trivia :)

Where do I meet the Tour Van at BNA?

  • A member of the Mutltiudes team will meet you at guest arrivals with a Multitudes sign to escort you to the tour van.

What time will the shuttle pick me up?

  • We will be running shuttles back and forth from BNA to the Nashville Farmers Market (a lovely establishment with restaurants, shops, and a large park to enjoy) throughout the day until our 2:30 scheduled departure time. The Farmers Market is located at 900 Rosa L Parks BLVD. We will coordinate with everyone via Whatsapp using the flight information you have provided and will meet you at guest arrivals to escort you to the tour van.

I’m staying for the Show Yourself Festival - can I be dropped off elsewhere in Nashville?

Parking

If you’ll be driving to Multitudes, parking is available onsite at both cabins. Overflow parking is also available nearby.

Multitudes Jam

We loved reading through your “what kind of session would you lead?” responses, which inspired this idea: the Multitudes Jam, a casual dinnertime session for sharing a lesser-known side of yourself.

Have some niche knowledge? A hidden talent? A bucket-list item you recently crossed off the list? We invite you to bring it to the Multitudes Jam on Friday evening! Everyone will have 5 minutes to use as they wish. (To ensure fairness, time limits will be enforced - we may have a small child tug you offstage if you go over.)

You can perform something, lead the group in an activity, bring slides to the PowerPoint party - anything that’s fun and fits in 5 minutes. If you have any questions or want help working through your jam, don’t hesitate to reach out. And if you just want to watch and cheer others on, that’s great too!

SIGN UP HERE TO PRESENT YOUR JAM!
